Your Child’s Progress
Assessment
We provide evidence of children’s development by sharing their progress through individual learning folders, displays of work and through photographic evidence.
We assess children's progress through observations, questioning and child interviews. We inform parents/caregivers of development and a Summative Report for each child in their last term of preschool.
Informal Conversations & Communication with staff – these take place when opportunity allows and we welcome regular exchange of daily information with parents.
Formal Interviews – these can be arranged by appointment. If, at any stage you would like to discuss your child’s progress at kindergarten, please do not hesitate to make an appointment. An interview is arranged in your child’s second term of full time kindergarten to share information regarding your child’s progress, their strengths and areas that might need improvement at home and at kindergarten.
